Royal Society Research Fellow whose research group is joint between the Centre for Computational Chemistry and the Department of Computer Science. Recognized for his work at the frontiers of chemical dynamics and computing, he has pioneered the development of high-performance computing frameworks to model non-equilibrium dynamics and energy transfer in condensed phases. Recipient of the 2016 PCCP Emerging Investigator prize, the 2016 Philip Leverhulme award, & the 2014 Harrison-Meldola Prize. As the founder of Bristol-based tech company Interactive Scientific (iSci), his work at the frontiers of scientific simulation, interactive high-performance computing, and digital aesthetics has been experienced by more than 200,000 people on three continents.
